Privacy policy
This page explains what happens to personal data on miniik.com. The short version: the only personal data we collect is what you type into the contact form. We use it to answer you, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.

Who is responsible
MiniIk is run by Steven Savarin and Alberto Prada. MiniIk is not yet a registered company; until it is, Steven Savarin is responsible for the personal data described on this page.
For any question or request about your data, use the contact form on this site and mention privacy in your message.
What we collect, and why
The contact form: your name and email address, and if you add them, your company, what you need and your message. We use them only to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to run the project. The legal basis is your own request (steps taken before a possible contract) and our legitimate interest in answering it.
Technical data: when you load a page, our host processes your IP address and browser details to deliver it and to protect the site from abuse. The contact form also holds your IP address for about a minute to stop repeated submissions; it is not stored.
Cookies and analytics
We set one cookie, miniik-locale, which remembers the language you chose for a year. It is purely functional and holds nothing else.
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you across sites. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.
We also count visits with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies and keeps no IP address or personal data; the connection passes through Cloudflare's network. It counts page views and clicks on links and forms, never what you type.
Who processes it
Vercel Inc. hosts the website and serves it through its global network.
Resend delivers contact-form messages to our inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail).
Our fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Union, they rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept as long as we need them to reply and, if we work together, for the length of the project plus the period the law requires for business records. Messages that did not lead to a project are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive it in a portable format. Send the request through the contact form and we will answer within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the country where you live: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands, the AEPD in Spain or the CNPD in Portugal.
